What is a culture? A culture is a way of life of a people, or a society. It can also be defined as the governing system of a kingdom. Kingdoms source their operations from culture. Hence, culture is very vital in identifying a kingdom. The kingdom of God operates on the culture of Christ. Christ is the definition of wisdom, power, and all things in the kingdom of God. For every person who then desires to walk in the wisdom of God’s kingdom, he must be well acquainted with Christ. Every person who is born again in Christ can access this wisdom in Christ, but not all of us might experience it. Why? To walk in this wisdom, we must assume a certain posture known as the “culture of the wise “What is the culture of the wise? The culture of the wise is the way of life of wise men in God’s Kingdom who desire to walk in the wisdom of God.The wisdom of God is the basis for which the glory of God is manifested in the life of the believer. It is the platform upon which we shine as light to the world (Daniel 12:3). God’s operation and manifestation in our lives would be hindered when we do not walk in his wisdom. There are five cultures imbibed by the wise.
1) The fear of God. It is a reverential regard of God. This regard is so strong on the heart that it will curtail your dealings and cause you to make decisions that have God at the core of it ( Proverbs 9:10).
2) Knowledge. This is a seeking out of God’s perspective. An search to uncover God’s view on a matter.
3) Reproof and correction. It is a resultant effect of encountering the knowledge of God, as you study the Word or its related materials, it challenges and rebukes your experiences. You must be willing to take this rebuke, understanding that we are God’s son/daughter. Also, bear in mind that God only rebukes them that he loves (Hebrews 12:5-6).
4) Inspiration. This is God’s response to you when you seek after him to find him and his truth. He responds by bringing himself into your situations to give you a practical experience of the knowledge of him you had before.
“The pattern of access to inspiration” is meditation: It is the key ingredient to accessing the wisdom of God (Joshua 1:8), wisdom that we ought to apply. The reason why many may never experience God’s wisdom on a matter is because they have options. We do not trust God enough to seek his wisdom, for that matter. There are two signs that reveal the wise:1) They walk circumspect. They are careful to be exact and aligned to the Lord’s laws.2) They labor to find God’s will at all times.
